What happens when I run out of the 4 orders on the Free plan?

The Free plan includes 4 orders per calendar month, counted on your mayo account (not per store: on Free you only have one store anyway). A cancelled order does not free up the slot: it still counts. Once you reach the limit, you need to move to Standard or Pro to keep ordering. This is deliberate: Free is meant for trying mayo, not for using it as a stable plan.

Why is the price per store and not per account?

Because the control you're looking for changes from store to store: catalog, suppliers and orders differ from one location to another. Paying per store means paying only for what you actually use. That's why the stepper shows the total recalculated based on the number of stores you have, not a fixed price for the account.

Can I change plan at any time?

Accepted Answer

Upgrading to a higher plan isn't self-service: you request it by contacting mayo, who activates it on your account. The plan is still unique per account and shared by all stores: you can't mix Free, Standard and Pro across different stores in the same account.

What do the «2 months free» on annual billing include?

Accepted Answer

By paying for the whole year instead of month by month, you pay the equivalent of 10 months instead of 12: two months are effectively free. That's the annual list price, already discounted this way.

Are prices with or without VAT?

Accepted Answer

All prices on this page are exclusive of VAT. The rate applied depends on the tax treatment you indicate when registering your account.

Can I add my staff?

Accepted Answer

On the Free plan, staff isn't available: only you, as owner, can operate. On Standard you get up to 3 staff users per store; on Pro they're unlimited. Each person you add only sees what they need to place an order or check in.

Do my suppliers also need to sign up on mayo?

Accepted Answer

No. Suppliers don't need a mayo account: they receive the order exactly as you send it, with nothing to install or configure on their side.

Can I switch from monthly to annual (or vice versa)?

Accepted Answer

Yes, but it's not an automatic switch: you request it by contacting mayo support, who updates the billing cycle on your account.

What happens if I choose Standard or Pro from this page?

Accepted Answer

The click takes you to the free sign-up wizard for one store, the same as Free. The plan you chose isn't activated from here: after signing up, mayo configures Standard or Pro on your account, as already explained for plan changes.

Is Inventory really useful for a restaurant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Inventory helps you take stock of what is there in the individual store. You can start a count when you need to, work by category and find the summary again once it is closed. It is there to show the quantities present when you need them; real-time sales and consumption stay outside the module.

Can I use Inventory on the Free plan?

Accepted Answer

No. Inventory is available with Standard and Pro. The module also has to be activated in the store where you want to use it, so you can choose where you really need it.

Is the Inventory price per account or per store?

Accepted Answer

It is a per-store module. On the Pricing page you will see the amount for the monthly or annual choice. If you have several stores, coverage is managed from the Licences page.

What can I do with Inventory?

Accepted Answer

You can count what is in the store by category, save quantities as you work and confirm the summary when it is ready. If your store needs an extra check, you can also use an approval step before confirmation.

In that case we do not show a provisional amount. Try again later or get in touch: we can help you work out whether the module suits your stores.
